How it works
01
Add up to 30 static JPG, PNG, or WebP files from your device.
02
Select JPG, PNG, or WebP, then adjust quality, dimensions, and transparency handling.
03
Review the real output size and any warnings before downloading converted files.
Private and format-safe
A dedicated browser worker decodes, resizes, and re-encodes each image. Both the reported MIME type and the output file signature are checked before a download is offered.
Input files are identified from their real contents instead of trusting a file extension.
Animated WebP and APNG files are rejected rather than quietly converting only one frame.
Supported JPEG orientation metadata is applied before the output image is drawn.
EXIF, GPS, ICC, DPI, and other source metadata are not copied through the pixel-based conversion.
FAQ
Static JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP images can be used as input and output. GIF, AVIF, SVG, HEIC, and HEIF are not supported in this version because the browser cannot convert them reliably through the same private worker pipeline.
JPEG does not support transparent pixels. The tool fills them with white by default, or with the background color you choose, before encoding the JPG.
No. Conversion uses decoded pixels only. Source EXIF, GPS location, ICC profile, DPI, and other metadata are not copied to the output. JPEG orientation is applied first so supported phone photos remain upright.
No. Supported conversions run in a dedicated worker inside your browser. Got A Tool does not receive or store the selected images or converted files.
