For supported tools, files are processed directly within your browser. Got A Tool does not send the selected file contents to its servers for processing.

Local processing means the requested operation is performed using browser technologies running on your device rather than by transferring the file contents to Got A Tool.

Some supported tools may download named program resources from third-party providers without sending the selected file content. Each applicable tool identifies that exception in its Data handling section.

Files are accessed only after you choose them through a supported tool. Your browser reads the selected files for the purpose of completing the operation you requested.

When a tool creates a new file, the result is generated for you to download. You remain responsible for reviewing, storing, sharing, or deleting that file.

Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information required to deliver and protect the website. This may include information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, request time, and diagnostic or security data.

We do not include locally processed file contents, file names, or text entered into tools in analytics, diagnostic, or usage events. Google Analytics measures website use separately from local file processing. For example, a tool-open or download-started event can identify the tool and its category without including your input or output.

Got A Tool relies on infrastructure providers to host, deliver, secure, and maintain the website. Those providers may process ordinary technical information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

The site uses Cloudflare to host, deliver, and protect the service. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, request details, and security diagnostics.

When you start Image to Text, your browser may cache the OCR runtime and English language data in browser storage, such as IndexedDB. This cache does not contain the selected image.

These services are separate from local file processing. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services for details about data use and available controls.

Where required, Google's consent message gives visitors a choice to consent, decline consent, or manage options before advertising choices are applied. The options shown can depend on your location and Google's service settings.

Got A Tool does not intentionally retain the contents of files processed locally by supported tools. Information held temporarily in the page's working memory is generally cleared when the page is refreshed, closed, or otherwise reset.

Technical information processed by infrastructure providers may be retained for limited periods for security, reliability, diagnostics, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

We may revise this Privacy Policy as Got A Tool develops, its tools change, or new services are introduced. The current version will remain available on this page, together with its latest revision date.
