How it works
Inspect a workbook before you share it
A workbook can contain hidden sheets, rows, columns, comments, links, and document properties that are easy to miss in a normal spreadsheet view.
Step 01
Choose one XLSX workbook
Open an unencrypted workbook from your device for a read-only check.
Step 02
Review the report
Check hidden structure, comments, external links, and readable document properties.
Step 03
Decide the next edit
Use the report to make changes in your spreadsheet application before sharing the original or a revised copy.
What this tool does and its limits
- This is a read-only report. It does not remove workbook content or produce a cleaned XLSX file.
- It does not detect every visual concealment method, such as white-on-white text or custom number formats.
