How it works
Make a VCF file smaller without rewriting contacts.
The tool removes readable embedded PHOTO data only. It keeps remote photo links, unreadable PHOTO values, contact fields, ordering, and line structure for review.
What is removed?
Only readable base64 or image data embedded directly in PHOTO fields. The preview shows the exact count and estimated byte reduction before download.
Are photo URLs removed?
No. HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and file URL photo references stay in the VCF because they add little size and removing them would be unnecessary data loss.
Does this extract the photos?
No. Use vCard Photo Extractor when you want image files. This tool creates a smaller VCF for contact import or sharing.
Is my contact file uploaded?
No. The file is read and filtered locally in your browser.
