Contact Duplicate Finder

Review exact duplicate contact signals before deciding whether to merge anyone.

Only exact normalized email or phone matches are grouped. Similar names are never guessed.

Your contacts stay in your browser and are never uploaded.

Your data is processed locally in your browser whenever supported and is not uploaded to our servers.

How it works

Review duplicate contacts before anyone is merged

01

Upload one file

Choose a CSV or VCF contact export.

02

Review exact matches

Groups use the same normalized phone number or email only.

03

Keep all by default

Select Merge only for contacts you have reviewed.

Will it merge people automatically?

No. Every group starts with Keep all. You must select Merge for each group separately.

What makes a duplicate group?

Only an exact normalized email address or phone number. Similar names are never guessed.

Why are different names highlighted?

A shared household or office phone does not prove two contacts are the same person. The warning helps prevent accidental deletion.

What happens when I merge?

The merged contact keeps all distinct emails, phones, labels, addresses, and preserved fields from the selected group.

Are contacts uploaded?

No. Reading, grouping, reviewing, and export all run locally in your browser.
