FAQ

Common questions

Does Got A Tool upload my contact file?

Supported contact files are designed to be processed locally in your browser rather than uploaded to our server for processing.

Does this tool automatically delete duplicate contacts?

No. Duplicate email addresses are surfaced as warnings. The tool does not silently merge or delete contacts for you.

Can I import the exported file into Google Contacts?

Yes. The exported CSV is prepared in a Google Contacts-compatible format. We have also tested the export flow with a real Google Contacts import.

What happens to fields the tool cannot map?

Unmapped populated fields are reported so they are not silently discarded without notice.
