Outlook to Google Contacts Converter

Convert an Outlook contacts CSV into a Google Contacts-ready CSV directly in your browser.

Use the CSV exported directly from Outlook

The converter keeps your contact file in your browser and creates a Google Contacts-ready CSV.

Your data is processed locally in your browser whenever supported and is not uploaded to our servers.

How it works

Move Outlook contacts in three steps

01

Export from Outlook

Export your Outlook contacts as a CSV file and keep the original column headers.

02

Convert privately

Choose the CSV above. The conversion runs locally in your browser.

03

Import into Google

Download the converted CSV, then import it from the Google Contacts website.

Built for contact data

Convert without silent data loss.

Recognized Outlook fields are mapped to Google Contacts. Other populated fields are preserved as custom fields for review after import.

Outlook detection

Checks the CSV structure before offering a converted download.

Legacy CSV support

Reads common UTF-8 and Windows-encoded Outlook exports.

Large contact lists

Splits large results into Google-friendly import batches automatically.

Local processing

Your contact file stays in your browser and is not uploaded for conversion.

FAQ

Common questions

Does this upload my Outlook contacts?

No. The supported conversion flow runs locally in your browser, so your CSV is not sent to our server for processing.

Which Outlook file should I use?

Export your contacts from Outlook in CSV format and upload the original file without renaming or removing its column headers.

What happens to fields Google does not map directly?

Populated fields that are not mapped directly are preserved in Google custom-field columns instead of being silently discarded.

Why did I receive more than one download?

Google Contacts limits the number of contacts per import. Large lists are split into numbered CSV files so you can import each batch.
