What this tool does and its limits
Savings are calculated as original price × discount percentage. The displayed price is original price minus savings. This is a single percentage discount; it does not combine stacked promotions, coupon exclusions, tax, shipping, or fees.

- How do I calculate 20% off $50?
- Enter 50 as the original price and 20 as the discount. The calculator shows 10 saved and a price of 40 before tax.
- Does it include sales tax?
- No. The result is the discounted price before tax and other charges.
- Can I enter 100%?
- Yes. A 100% discount produces savings equal to the original price and a zero price before tax.
- Does it handle two discounts in a row?
- No. Enter the final effective discount only; this version does not model stacked offers or coupon rules.
