What can this QR code contain?
Create a code for plain text or a URL, Wi-Fi credentials, an email draft, a phone number, or an SMS message. The fields change to match the selected type.
Should I use PNG or SVG?
PNG is useful for documents and social posts at a chosen pixel size. SVG stays sharp when a design program or print workflow needs to scale the code.
How do I make a QR code easier to scan?
Keep a strong foreground-to-background contrast and retain a quiet zone around the code. The generator enforces a safe minimum quiet zone; test the final code with the intended scanner before printing many copies.
What does error correction do?
Higher error correction can help a code remain readable when part is damaged, but it makes the code denser and reduces its maximum content capacity. Medium is a useful starting point for most codes.
Is my QR content uploaded or saved?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser. The content you enter, including Wi-Fi details and contact information, is not sent to or stored by Got A Tool.
