Is my QR content uploaded or saved?
No. QR generation runs entirely in your browser. Your text, links, contact details, and Wi-Fi password are not sent to Got A Tool or stored after you leave the page.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is convenient for documents, presentations, and social posts. SVG remains sharp at any size and is best for professional printing or design software.
What does error correction do?
Higher error correction can help a QR code remain readable when part of it is damaged, but it increases code density and reduces maximum content capacity. Medium is a good default.
Why are some color combinations rejected?
A QR code needs strong contrast and a clear quiet zone for reliable scanning. The tool enforces conservative safety limits instead of producing a code that may fail on real cameras.
