Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDF files in your chosen order without uploading them to a server.

Choose PDF files

Add 2–20 files, then arrange them in the order you want.

50 MB per file · 150 MB total · 1,000 pages

Your data is processed locally in your browser whenever supported and is not uploaded to our servers.

How it works

Combine PDFs in three steps

01

Choose your PDFs

Add between 2 and 20 PDF files from your device.

02

Set the order

Drag files or use the arrow buttons to arrange the final page order.

03

Merge and download

Combine the files locally, review any compatibility warnings, and download the result.

Private by design

Your documents stay in your browser.

PDF processing happens on your device. Files are not uploaded to Got A Tool for merging.

Order preserved

Pages are copied in the exact file order you choose.

Password support

Password-protected PDFs can be merged after you enter the correct password.

No silent skipping

Unreadable or incomplete files stop the merge and are identified by name.

Compatibility warnings

Files with bookmarks or interactive forms are flagged before download because those features may not carry into the result.

FAQ

Common questions

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. The merge runs locally in your browser, and your PDF files are not sent to our server for processing.

Can I change the file order?

Yes. Drag files into position or use the accessible up and down buttons. The merged PDF follows that order.

What happens to bookmarks and interactive forms?

The current merge engine cannot preserve PDF bookmarks or working form fields. The tool detects these features when possible and displays a warning before you download.

What are the limits?

You can combine up to 20 files, with a maximum of 50 MB per file, 150 MB total, and 1,000 pages per merge.
