How it works
01
Paste a CSV export or tab-separated values from a spreadsheet, editor, or simple text file.
02
Keep the first-row heading setting when your source already has column names, or create neutral column names instead.
03
Copy or download the result after you have checked the headings and every table cell.
Clear output rules
Markdown tables need the same number of cells on every row. This tool stops and identifies a mismatched row instead of silently adding blank cells or dropping extra data. Pipes are escaped and multiline cells use a visible line break so the table stays structurally valid.
The parser accepts common comma-separated CSV and tab-separated rows, including quoted CSV cells.
Your pasted rows stay in this tab; no upload or external lookup is part of generation.
Choose whether the first row already contains headings before the table is generated.
Copy the text or download a Markdown file after checking the final table in its destination.
FAQ
Yes. Copying a rectangular selection from most spreadsheets produces tab-separated values, which the tool accepts.
Every Markdown table row needs the same number of cells. The tool reports a row with a different count rather than changing it silently.
