Why bytes matter
Characters and bytes are not always the same
Plain English letters usually use one UTF-8 byte. Accented letters, Turkish characters, emoji, and many non-Latin characters can use more. This tool measures encoded bytes rather than estimating from character count.

Does this tool know every Amazon rule?
No. It measures the text you enter against the limit you choose. Marketplace and listing rules can change, so confirm the current requirement in your Seller Central account.
Does it remove duplicate or prohibited terms?
No. Repeated terms are shown for review, but the tool never decides which words to delete or whether a term is allowed.
Is my keyword list uploaded?
No. The byte count, repetition check, normalization, and copying all happen in your browser.
