Review before downloading
If a shift would create a negative timestamp or a timing line is malformed, no output file is created. Existing overlapping cues are preserved and reported for review; they are not silently moved or merged.

Fix blocking timing errors first, then download the shifted file in its original format.
Can I move subtitles earlier?
Yes. Enter a negative number of seconds, such as -1.250. If that would make any cue negative, the tool stops and names the timing line instead of clamping it.
Does it repair overlapping subtitles?
No. A uniform shift cannot resolve an existing overlap, so the tool preserves it and reports it for review.
Does it change subtitle text or VTT settings?
No. It changes only readable timing values. Cue text, numbering, timing-line settings, and supplied line endings are preserved.
Is my subtitle file uploaded?
No. Reading, shifting, and download occur locally in your browser.
