How it works
01
Open one UTF-8 or Windows-1252 reference file up to 10 MB.
02
Readable records and unsupported constructs stay visibly separated before export.
03
Get a references CSV and, when needed, a separate review CSV with source lines and raw records.
No guessed conversions
BibTeX string macros and concatenation can depend on declarations elsewhere in a library. This version reports those entries instead of inventing a value. LaTeX commands stay as written, while unmapped BibTeX fields and RIS tags remain in a JSON column.
Title, authors, year, publication, pages, DOI, URL, abstract, and keywords get dedicated columns.
Multiple authors and keywords are retained in their written order.
Formula-like values are exported as text, with UTF-8 BOM and CRLF line endings.
The input and generated CSV package stay in the current browser tab.
FAQ
No. LaTeX commands are preserved as source text so an incomplete accent mapping cannot silently change names or titles.
They are retained in the other_fields_json column. Repeated RIS tags remain arrays.
It reports @string directives and concatenated values for review instead of expanding them without full library semantics.
No. Reading, parsing, and ZIP creation happen in the current browser tab.
